Goodmorning friends! I hope you had an awesome weekend, mine, however, mine was somewhat bittersweet. I had a totally disastrous month end shopping experience with my two kids and my eldest (2 year old is sick at the moment!) but on the other hand, my parents came over – my kids love them! It was great to have them over.
I have decided to dedicate this Monday post to my parents, who are no longer ‘just my parents’, now they are ‘Nana and Baa’, the grandparents of Yash and Ralee. If I have ever seen something amazing, it is the love between my kids and their grandparents. There is something magical about the love between them. My parents have been there for me through everything and it is impossible for anyone to take my name without my parents coming to mind. They have done so much for me, more than I could type in this post. I am so thankful for them because they have been my biggest support through everything, I only need to call out for them once and I know that they will be there. My son is so attached to my parents, that as small as he is, he can leave us and go for a holiday with them. He doesn’t even look for us! My daughter does not go to anyone as she is so attached to me, but she loves them and loves to play with them. She loves spending time with them.
We are so lucky to have such wonderful people for a family. I am so blessed to have such parents, that are willing to bring the moon and stars to my children’s feet. There are no words to describe the amazing bond between them; it is something that you have to see. You don’t even have to look hard at all, just glimpse at them while they are all playing together and you will see the immense love and unbreakable bond between my children and their grandparents.
They say that life is not about the number of breaths you take, but it is about the moments that take our breath away.
After spending time with my parents this weekend, I have realised that every moment that I am with them and every moment that I see this wonderful love between my parents and my children, those are the moments that take my breath away. My life is so filled with colours, the colours of love, joy, hope and laughter. This is my wonderful life and I am so thankful to God for giving it to me this way. There may be a lot of things that can make a person happy, but when your family is happy, it makes your heart happy and that, that is a special kind of happy. Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead.
