New year, new me? Lol, not really!

Welcome to 2018. Happy New Year friends! Are you excited? Well, I am, but not to make any new year resolutions! I don’t believe in new year resolutions simply because no one really sticks to them. For the beginning of the year, we kick off with announcing my giveaway winners. Yesh(helloyeshi.wordpress.com) & Verushka (www.spicegoddess.co.za); Congratulations on winning my blogger giveaway! Lets get in touch to discuss! Well, what has 2018 got in store for me? I honestly don’t know but I have goals set out for myself!

Goal Number 1:
Settle our family down in ONE place! Because of my husband’s job, he has to move around a lot and because the kids are small, we move around with him so that he gets to spend the maximum amount of time with them in these crucial years of their lives. But they are no longer the little tiny tots that I once babied so much, now, they will be 2 and 3 in March & that means in 2 years time, picking out schools will be my next headache!

Goal Number 2:
Work hard on my business. 2017 has showed me that great things are coming for NIYASH (my safety & it consulting business). So it’s time to get cracking & working hard on my blog & business because they go hand in hand!

Is there more? Nope. I am not one to set unrealistic goals. After all, 2017 has been quite a successful year for me. I achieved the goals that I set out for myself and avoided disappointment by setting brutally honest & realistic goals for myself. I sometimes wonder whether weight loss should be added to my list of goals because damn, I have put on a good amount of weight over this festive season.

Along with goal setting, I also have to be thankful. Thankful for my parents, my supportive family, my husband and my two bundles of joy, all of whom I would have never made it through 2017 without! Cheers to you guys!

So whats new with me?

My first ever tattoo!

I have a tattoo. Yep, I have inked my kids names & a tiger on my right hand wrist area. I always wanted one & I am so glad that I have got one. I also have a pet rabbit now as I have given the bird to my mother in law. My rabbits name is Robbie and although I miss Miss Grey (yes, that’s my bird’s name & no, it’s NOT a reference to 50 shades of Grey!), Robbie is much more loveable than Grey. After all he’s a cute ball of fur!

Start following my schedules to the letter!

To be honest, I don’t. Perhaps that’s why I feel so down about certain things. However, for 2018, my goal is to start following my schedules, because in all honesty, they really are great schedules! Lol, and for those of you that know me, NO, it IS NOT an unrealistic goal at all!
