For the longest time I have been trying to find some time to sit down and write. It’s been a crazy month and I am finally just now getting the time to write something, well actually, MAKING THE TIME. The new year has come and gone and definitely has created some great opportunities for me! Everyone seems to be choosing words for the year etc, but this year, I have ONE mantra and that is, “making moves on faith“.
This year rained in with a lot of positivity for me. Have you read the book, “The Secret”, by Rhonda Byrne? The book is all about how you can attract everything that you’ve ever wanted into your life by simply putting yourself in a positive mindset and sending a positive signal to the Universe.
According to the book, “the secret” has passed down through many generations from some of the most brilliant minds! I read this book a very long time ago, yet I struggled to put myself in a positive mindset 24/7. After all, there are many contributing factors to a person’s mood for eg. the weather, the husband, the kids …oh and the house work! But this year, it was like the skies opened up and rain in the form of positivity rained down on me directly from the heavens!
After beginning this year, I have always had a positive gut feeling before I made any big decisions. I realised that this positivity of mind, sort of turned into my faith. Because of the great opportunities that I received, once I started letting go of the negativity in my mind, it had me believing that everything will always go well if I continue to look beyond the negative, focus on the positive and take calculated risks.
In my previous post, I had listed my goals and in this post, I can tell you that I’m close to achieving them! 2018 has surely been good to me so far!
I’ve been reading so many posts on facebook groups about female entrepreneurs in South Africa. There are so many inspirational stories around, and so many women are helping financially at home. If you feel like there’s something that you could do or start from home, why not give it a try? Don’t start selling all your stuff now, okay, you can try selling your husband but make sure that you enforce a no returns policy! Lol, I’m just kidding! (well, mostly!).
Do you want to make moves on faith also?
If you would like to try a few tricks from the book that I mentioned above, try starting a vision board!
What is a vision board?
A vision board is something that you create in order to help you clarify your goals of one or many aspects of your life. A vision board is a collection of images that tie up to and remind you of exactly what your goal is.
Because there are so many distractions in this life, a vision board is a great tool in reminding you of what exactly it is you want and what you are working towards. For example, it’s easy to say that you would like your own house, but what type of house would you want? How exactly would you want it to look? A vision board helps you narrow down your goal to become an accurate and realistic representation of what you would like to achieve.
What do I need to create a vision board?
You can make a vision board with virtually anything these days. You can make a physical vision board using paper/cardboard and cutting out pictures or even drawing some pictures to represent exactly what you want. You could also try the digital route and create a vision board on Pinterest! You can share the board or keep it to yourself, whatever it is, make sure to check it out every day with positive affirmations.
Before you start…
Before you start, think about EXACTLY what you want, I mean exactly. Write everything down to the last detail. Sort out your priorities, feel good and start creating a vision board.
