The truth of the matter is that I am really proud. Someone that I love very much has done something amazing, something that anyone should be proud off.. they have a kicked a 14 year old habit! I cannot begin to describe how proud I am of them. Addiction is a hard thing to overcome like any other habit and you know what they say, old habits die hard!
To be honest, I was not at all amazed that they had done it. I always knew that they could and had immense faith in this person. The person has not only changed drastically by kicking this addiction but has altered their lifestyle completely all in the name of providing a better life for their children.
Now this person is a man that has now chosen family over addiction. Don’t you think he deserves to be applauded? I think he does! I think anyone who even ATTEMPTS to kick their bad habits deserves some praise. 14 years is MORE than half my life and to kick such a long standing habit within just about three weeks is a great achievement. Be proud of yourself and what you are doing, I know your kids will be proud!
Now for the deep stuff..
I have to say that I am so proud of you. I am proud of who you are becoming and that you are growing towards a better family life day by day. I pray that you keep the willpower that you have going for you and that fighting spirit.
I’ve seen the change in you and trust me, it is a wonderful one to see! You are now more carefree, more caring and much more attentive. I have noticed that although you carry that anger with you at the tip of your nose, you have calmed down in a sense that you let the small things slide (thats a HUGE difference, isn’t it?)
Keep doing what you are doing. Its applaudable that you are changing your entire life to give your kids everything that they need and want. I’ve always thought that this is what parents do. They sacrifice, work hard and push on for their children to have great lives but unfortunately, recently I had to learn that this is not the case with all parents. So for you to be doing this for your children gives me some hope that there are still parents and fathers that WILL go that extra mile for their kid. Making such a huge attempt for your kids speaks volumes of what a great dad you are!
Alwaysknow that I am proud of you for what you have now achieved.
