“Yeah man” .. Today’s #FridayBackTrack is none other than Love in This Club by Usher featuring rapper, Young Jeezy. This song was released in 2008 (during my high school years) and was a hit single from Usher’s album, ‘Here I Stand’. This song appeared after Usher’s 4 year break since he released ‘Confessions’.
So I am a professional modern bollywood dancer and have spent most of my younger years on stage. I thought that it’s only fair that I share some of the great bollywood tunes with you guys as well ..perhaps it will awaken your love for bollywood in the process! Today’s bollytune is my current favorite; Sweety Tera Drama from Bareilly ki Barfi.
Today’s #MondaysMelody is ‘Wait’ by Maroon 5. Today’s post is quiet delayed. We are on our way back home and I’ve just heard this song on East Coast Radio.
The song was released in January 2018. The song hasn’t done extremely well on the international charts. It takes some time to grow on you and its borderline irritating but it has a catchy beat.
It was number 4 on the Belgium Charts, which is the closest it’s come to number 1.
Today’s #MondayMelody is “Came here for Love” by Sigala.
It’s not exactly my favourite song but perhaps it’s just what you need to start off your Monday morning.
“Came Here for Love” is a song by English DJ and record producer Sigala and English singer-songwriter Ella Eyre. It was released digitally in June 2017.
There are so many versions of this song.
- The original version
- The Acoustic version
- The Re-edit
- Freedo Mix
- GotSome Mix
- Calvo Remix
The song only made it to number 1 on the Belgium Charts.
Did you know that Mum’s listen to cool music too?
Today’s #favoriteTrack is none other than Keith Sweat’s Twisted.
Twisted was released in 1996 (Yeah, I was 3 years old at this time). The song also features Kut Klose and Pretty Ruse. It held it’s position of number 1 for three weeks on the U.S R&B chart & was right behind ‘Macarena’, holding the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Twisted also peaked at number 1 for 14 consecutive weeks on Rhythmic Top 40.
