She knows who she is, she just forgot for a little while

After my bad haircut and house move, I realised that appearance greatly affects self confidence. 6 years ago, I had my hair set, nails painted and even though my sense of style sucked, I was always presentable. Now, I look like something the cat dragged in after finding me amongst debris left behind by a hurricane or some other equally devastating natural disaster.

My husband – The Critic

at

Recently I read a very disheartening post on a very popular social media site. A woman posted that she was feeling very disheartened because her husband has been laughing at her attempts to work on her blog. He called her silly for staging pictures for her blog etc. It may not sound as awful as you think, but if you’re a blogger, you would know that to be successful at blogging, you have got to put in a lot of time and effort, especially if you ever hope of receiving an income from your blog.

A bouquet of thank yous – An attitude of gratitude

at
In keeping with Spring, I have decided to deliver a bouquet of thank you’s to all the people that deserve them and maybe, have never heard them. There are so many people that do so many things for us and to us in our lives that help us. I have realised that in life, harsh words come easily to people and good, true and uplifting things seem to take the long route to our tongues. We have so much in this world to be thankful for, some of us thank God, some of us thank our parents, but how often do we do these things? For many of us the answer is not often enough! So let’s talk about having an attitude of gratitude!
